Where were you born?

Hartford, Connecticut, USA.

Describe yourself in three words:

Many. Surprising. Layers.

What did you want to be when you were younger?

I wanted to be a Broadcast Meteorologist!

What was your first job?

At 15, I was a cook at a tiny mom and pop breakfast joint.

What do you do for fun - outside of work?

Anything active (lift weights, play basketball), which then allows my other passion of cooking (one college nickname was Chef Nicolas) and dining out.

What’s the most adventurous thing you’ve ever done?

Paid a villager in Copan, Honduras, to give us a ride in the back of his pickup truck so we could get to the mountains near the Guatemalan border to visit some remarkable hot springs.

Describe your most memorable event:

Finishing the Pan-Mass Challenge (an 82-mile bicycle ride that raises money for the Dana-Farber Cancer Institute).

What do you feel strongly about?

Food.

Talking of which, what’s your favorite food?

Nothing quite like a good Bolognese with fresh pasta.

What or who makes you smile?

Anything Will Ferrell, classic Mel Brooks (Blazing Saddles, Space Balls).

If you had a catchphrase what would it be?

“Well that escalated rather quickly.”

I love that I have a strong background in the talent acquisition industry and have the luxury of being able to show customers our wonderful product.

What or who can you see from your desk?

One of our Account Executives - Darragh. He’s from Dublin, Ireland and cracks me up.

Who in the company has had the most influence on you and why?

Rachel Bates our VP of Sales - she really knows her stuff.

Everyone is really team-oriented. I feel like I can go to anyone with a question or idea. We all want to succeed individually, of course, but we equally want to see our teammates succeed. I consistently see teammates helping each other out. It’s a really supportive environment.

I have to mention Andrew, the manager of Customer Success. He was patient while I was still learning a lot of simple things that others may have known coming right in. I was given time to get some really thorough training, which made all the difference.
